How do I travel so often?

The MAIN question I always get is: "How do you travel so often!?!" So, I thought I'd share my tips on how to travel more often and my "secrets" to traveling. I hope you find it helpful!

#1 Tip:

Be on the lookout for great flight deals! This is my first step as to where I want to travel to and the most important tip I could give you guys! I follow Volaris airline on every social media platform I have (twitter, instagram, and facebook). They come out with deals so often that you honestly don't want to miss. That being said, I am posting this blog post today, because guess what!?! THERE'S AN UP TO 70% OFF VOLARIS PROMO TODAY!!

If you download the volaris app you get a little bit more money off your flight rather than buying a flight on the website. I also usually find better deals at night, like after midnight. I'm part of the VClub, which gets me an extra 20% off on some deals. Promo code: VUEH70 Soooo ruuuuunnnn forrest runnnn!!

P.S. there isn't always super great deals to every city in Mexico, but you can always look around to different places and find which is cheaper to visit! (That's what I do)

#2 Tip:

Airbnb. My mom mostly used Airbnb when she would take my sisters and I on trips. It's so much cheaper than hotels, plus you could get an entire apartment to yourself! I personally think it's so much more worth it since I also like to talk to the hosts or neighbors and try to learn about hidden gems or non-touristy places.

#3 Tip:

Weekend trips! I usually travel more often, because I travel from Friday-Monday or Thursday-Sunday. It may not seem like a lot of time, however I plan my trips beforehand. I plan where I want to go, what I want to see, what I want to eat, and any tours I want to take. And guess where I find all this info? By reading lots and lots of blogs!! This is why I wanted to start up my own blog!

#4 Tip:

Save yo schmoneyyyyyy. The promo codes for Volaris come so randomly that you want to have that extra schmoney saved, so that whenever there's a deal you don't have to wait! Another quick money tip is to change to pesos before going on your trip. The best time to exchange money is on Mondays-Wednesdays around 12pm-2pm. Thanks to one of my tia's that works at an exchange house/place I've gone at these hours and days and it's better than ever!

#5 Tip:

Pay for everything you can before going on your trip. That way you just worry about your food, entertainment, and souvenirs money.

#6 Tip:

Uber it everywhere! It's sooo much more cheaper. Taxis take advantage of tourists and they're not safe. The only time I use a taxi is when I arrive at the airport and get one at a stand and pay before getting in the taxi. Ubers are not allowed at airports at most cities, so it's better to use the airport taxi at this point only.

#7 Tip:

I always always always buy my souvenirs at the local "Mercados". It's way more cheaper than other places (especially tourist places like museums). Sometimes if you buy more than one thing you could ask for a better deal. I learned it from my momma! But I'm not as good as she is LOL.

P.S. you could always find delicious foods at the mercados! I think it's the best places to eat, because it's more authentic foods!

#8 Tip:

HABLA ESPAÑOL! If you know/speak spanish, speak it at all times in public! As soon as you speak english they know you're a tourist and they try to take advantage with pricings. I've experienced it before!

Those are my main tips for travelling in Mexico. I'll update it as soon as I have more tips, I just really want to post it ASAP to let you guys know about the discount and to take advantage!

Besitos!
