My Vision/Mi Visión

Hi!

I'm sure some of you are surprised and asking yourselves what is Victoria doing? Well, I finally had the courage to re-open my blog... Yes, I said "re-open". So, a few years ago (I think two years) I had opened a blog on a few travels I had done. I was so motivated, so excited, so happy! BUT I didn't get any views, feedback, "traffic", why? Because my smart-butt didn't tell anyone but one person, my co-worker! She was so excited for me and so motivational but I didn't have the courage to share it with others.

I was scared of people thinking "Oh she wants to be a blogger pff" or "She's just trying to be like everyone else".

I tried the youtube thing. It was pretty fun! However, it was also kind of annoying having to record most of my trips, have people stare, and the worst part... EDITING! Honeslty, YouTube is not for me. But I'm glad at least I tried it and gave it a chance. So, now a Blog.

I had been thinking about starting up a blog again and my dearest friend Alexa (@alexafuelednaturally on IG) was (I guess I could say) the final confirmation for me! She was definitely my push to re-start it and now here I am super happy and super excited!

I do want to focus on Mexico... of course. My parents have always admired our motherland, our roots, our culture, and of course our family. That's where I get all this love and admiration for Mexico. So many family and friends always say how "I'm such a Mexican" and that's where I came up with the name The Mexiigirl. I think it fits perfectly with who I am! Any who, so many family members and friends always come to me for tips and suggestions on travel in Mexico so I thought why not just write about them? I love to travel to unpopular places and that's what my goal for this blog is. I want to show the world that Mexico isn't only Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. There is more to this beautiful country! I don't want to write too much to bore you, so here is my first post. I hope you will enjoy my future posts!

¡Hola!

Estoy segura de que algunos de ustedes están sorprendidos y se estan preguntandó qué está haciendo Victoria? Bueno, finalmente tuve el valor de volver a abrir mi blog ... Sí, dije "volver a abrir". Hace unos años (creo que dos años) había abierto un blog sobre algunos viajes que había hecho. Estaba tan motivada, tan emocionada, tan feliz! PERO no obtuve ninguna opinión y "tráfico" en mi pagina, ¿por qué? ¡Porque mi cabecita inteligente (sarcasmo) no se lo dijo a nadie, más que a una persona, que fue mi compañera de trabajo! Estaba tan emocionada por mí y tan motivadora, pero no tuve el valor de compartirlo con los demás. Tenía miedo de que la gente pensara "O, ella solo quiere ser una blogger" o "Ella está tratando de ser como todos los demás". Intente youtube. ¡Fue muy divertido! Sin embargo, también fue un poco enfadoso tener que grabar la mayoría de mis viajes, la gente que se me quedaba viendo y la peor parte ... ¡EDITAR! Honestamente, YouTube no es para mí. Pero me alegra que al menos lo intente y le di una oportunidad. Entonces, ahora un blog. Había estado pensando en volver a abrir un blog y mi querida amiga Alexa (@alexafuelednaturally en IG) fue (supongo que podría decir) la confirmación final para mí. ¡Definitivamente fue mi impulso para reiniciarlo y ahora estoy súper feliz y súper emocionada! Quiero centrarme en México ... por supuesto. Mis papás siempre han admirado nuestra patria, nuestros raíces, nuestra cultura y, por supuesto, nuestra familia. Ahí es donde consigo todo este amor y admiración por México. Tantos familiares y amigos siempre dicen cómo "soy tan mexicana" y de ahí surgió el nombre de The Mexiigirl. Creo que encaja perfectamente con quien soy! Tantos familiares y amigos siempre buscan para recibir consejos y sugerencias sobre viajes a México, así que pensé, ¿por qué no escribir sobre ellos? Me encanta viajar a lugares que no son tan populares y ese es mi objetivo para este blog. Quiero mostrarle al mundo que México no es solo Cancún, Puerto Vallarta y Cabo San Lucas. ¡Hay más en este hermoso país! No quiero escribir demasiado para aburrirte, así que aquí está mi primer post. Espero que disfrutes mis futuros posts!
